Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary in Wayanad
Muthanga Wildlife sanctuary,also known as Wayanad National Park or Muthanga National Park is located 16 kilometers east of Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad. Also known as Wayanad National Park, Muthanga National Park is located 16 kilometers east of Sulthan Bathery. The increase in visitors to the sanctuary has been attributed to the fact that summer season offers an ideal occasion to spot wildlife, when many animals including tigers and elephants from neighboring sanctuaries move in to the Wayanad sanctuary, basically in search of food and water. The vegetation at Muthanga differs from tropical evergreen vegetation to rolling stretches of grasslands and mesmerizing meadows.
